Manage HP Information Technology Infrastructure

. Responsible for undertaking continuous process improvement activities

/projects

. Ensure Service Level agreement (SLAs) for the process is met.

. Ensure adherence to targets set for all Process Metrics

. Ensure timely generation and circulation of reports / dashboards.

. Mentor the team and guide them towards effective discharge of

functions.

. Train new and existing team members on an ongoing basis on relevant

tools or topics.

. Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service

issues.

. Identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive

continuous improvement in the execution of procurement processes

. Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating

improvements in processes.

. Give presentations to the Top Management w.r.t the business.

. Identify causes for non-achievement of SLAs and develop solution and

execute the same

. Coach and mentor sub-ordinates by involving them in decision making

process

. Nominate sub-ordinates for suitable training programs sponsored by the

organization to enhance their capabilities and skill level

. Preparing Watcher Reports for all infrastructure orders by stage wise

i.e., Submitted, Ordered, shipped, partially shipped & delivered.

. Preparing Order tacking for infrastructure Order for Region wise i.e.,

APJ, EMEA, AMS & LAR by stage wise ie.,Submitted, Ordered, Shipped

and Delivered

HP IT ASSET Management

. Creation of the assets in the Asset manager database.

. Analyzing the current status of the pc delivered to the employees.

. Resolving the invariable PC queries from various HP employees across the

globe.

. Performing high end analysis like granting access to the users to the

asset manager database, tracking the number of remainder emails generated

for a PC, stopping the remainder emails from reaching the HP employees

and generating daily reports on the status of the PCs provided to the HP

employees

. Tracking & Managing all employee Asset in HPAM tool.

Customer / Operation

. Establish a close relationship with the client and ensure all requests

and queries are responded to in an efficient and professional manner.

. Ensure prompt and accurate preparation of shipments.

. Closely interact with Forwarder & Warehouse Operations for complete

control on shipments.

. Identify technical, logistical performance or support issues and

facilitate resolution.

. Continue establishing and maintaining strong logistics contact,

procedures and systems.

. Ensure Claim process is taken care by updating necessary claim department

or respective vendors.

. Ensuring pre-alert is received in advance so that if any changes required

can go back to the shipper and advise them accordingly on any changes.

. Ensuring Import customs documents are intact, so that un-necessary

customs delays can be avoided at airport/port.

. Scrutinizing the purchase requisition, raising purchase order, creating

inbound delivery note in SAP.

Purchase / Procurement

. Executing procurement plans for materials and ensuring that plans are

aligned with project requirements.

. Ensure effective inventory management.

. Perform Spend analysis for analyzing expenditure data with the purpose of

reducing procurement costs, improving efficiency and monitoring

compliance.

. Negotiating and finalizing the order within/or less than the set budget

considering both technical and commercial implications.

. Scrutinizing the purchase requisition, raising purchase order, creating

inbound delivery note in SAP.

. Placing purchase order, following up for data sheet, getting approval

from management in reasonable time.

. Coordinating with supplier, quality department and Project Managers /

Department for getting inspection done to enable smooth delivery in right

time.

. Receiving Requisition Slip (Indent) from the Plant Office, reviewing the

slip and cross checking with the plant.

. Establishing good working relationships with vendors through personal

contact; discussing and resolving problems regarding delayed delivery

dates.

. Checking prices and approving invoices on the purchase orders; scheduling

delivery dates and following up on delayed deliveries.

. Finalising orders with suppliers/management & releasing the purchase

order as agreed terms & conditions.

. Responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Life Cycle

Management (PLM) from a Manufacturing and Supply Operations perspective.

The product operation team gets engaged with the Design Engineering teams

very early in the development process and is responsible for NPI

activities and also provides support for Products, until their end of

Life.

Logistics Management & Inventory Management

. Arranging for Direct International Counter-to-Counter or Counter -to-

Airport delivery to customer based on the urgency.

. Analyzing the supply of finished goods, makes inquiries on the status of

the parts under testing, monitors the pick process, and conducts manual

picks, where necessary on request.

. Working with logistics team and ensures the soft copies of "Invoice Copy"

is sent to customer post the shipment.

. Led effort to improve on-time delivery to customer

. Review mismatches and resolve where ATP (Available to promise) is

available or sufficient Finished Goods are on-hand

. Update and issue customer inventory report

Vendor Management

. Identifying and developing potential vendors/ suppliers for achieving

cost effective purchases of materials; achieving reduction in prices and

timely delivery.

. Following with vendors for timely deliveries, release schedules, quality

checks and payments.

. Contacting Vendors and taking necessary quotations for the materials,

verifying the quotation and negotiating with the vendors and raising the

Purchase Orders as per the company's rules & regulations.

. Coordinating with the Freight Forwarding team for the delivery of goods.
