Responsibilities are plant engineering, capital / continuous improvement

My duties involve plant engineering of all facilities, equipment and
systems, continued improvement of PM / PdM / TPM activities and training of
plant personnel, reliability maintenance / engineering (vibration &
lubrication), craft / skills training and development, CMMS (SAP) system
training and the implementation of reliability-based maintenance practices.
Additional duties consist of equipment enhancements and upgrades,

Responsibilities were the direction and management of a large maintenance
training department, curriculum development and the coordination of all
training activities. My duties involved department management and
direction, craft / skills training and development, all curriculum
development, presentation and delivery of training, project management,
change management and educational / skills assessments. Included in these
duties were the assessments and evaluations of skill levels, training
projections and the development of the apprenticeship program. Additional
activities included soft skills training and development for maintenance
management personnel.
2008-2011: Regional Manager of Operations, American Water Enterprises,
O'Fallon, MO.
Responsibilities were the management of multiple water / wastewater
operations within a geographical (multi-state) region. My duties included
operations and maintenance support, engineering (process and
environmental), consulting, new business sales and development, operation /
site commissioning, site staffing, regulatory compliance responsibilities
(state and federal) and client relations. This included site staff
training and development, human resource support, new sales and the
implementation of an asset management system (JobCal) for the organization.
2006-2008: Corporate-Maintenance Coordinator, Tyson Foods, Inc.,
Fayetteville, AR.
Responsibilities were the implementation and support of SAP and maintenance
management training at all facilities through-out the organization. My
duties included on-site training and development, system implementation &
troubleshooting, master data management, SOP development, maintenance
consulting and maintenance planner training. Additional assignments were
the development of multiple level-user training manuals for operations and
planning and soft skills training as needed.
2004-2006: Plant Engineer, Pacific Veneer (Weyerhaeuser Co.), Aberdeen,
WA.
Responsibilities were the management of the maintenance, purchasing and
engineering departments. My duties included the direction and management
of all assigned departments, budgeting, PM / PdM development and
management, CMMS system management (Maximo), capital / continuous
improvement project management, plant engineering, ergonomics, department
budgeting, skills training and team development. Additional duties included
the development of a maintenance apprenticeship training program, SOP
development and reliability engineering with RFCA team lead
responsibilities.
2002-2004: Maintenance Manager, Kohler Co., Searcy, AR.
Responsibilities were the management of the maintenance department and
plant engineering for the facility. My duties included the management of
the maintenance department, capital / continuous improvement project
management, plant and ergonomic engineering and the development of an asset
management system (MP2). Additional duties were the development of a PM /
PdM maintenance program, reliability engineering and Kaizen and Six-Sigma
projects for continuous improvements through-out the complex.
2000-2002: Maintenance Supervisor, Conestoga Wood Specialties, Inc.,

Responsibilities were the management of the maintenance and purchasing
departments. My duties included the management of the maintenance
department, plant engineering, capital / continuous improvement project
management, PM management, implementation of an asset management program
(MP2) and all environmental management for the facility. Also included in
my duties was the management of purchasing and warehouse activities,
training and development of department personnel along with the
implementation of SPC on various operations / processes.

I graduated with a diploma in general studies and building trades.

I completed an accredited (non-degreed), college education program. This
program was designed to be the equivalent to an AS degree.

I completed several company sponsored training programs including Advanced
Hydraulics, Pneumatics and PLC programming.
