• Residential markets: Developed and supported traditional residential dealer relationships while expanding

into mainstream electrical contractor channels. Created sales programs to increase sales and customer

loyalty. Helped develop packaged systems concept, marketing platform and sales channels in launch of the

residential grid-connected market in 2000.

• Commercial projects: Direct sales to commercial end-customers through GE relationships and referrals.

Developed relationships to facilitate the design and installation of these projects.

• Utility Scale Projects: GE team member for the APS DOE Smart Grid Project. Worked to launch new 600

kW GE Inverter for 3 MW and larger systems.

2000-2004

AstroPower Inc., Concord, CA (Purchased by General Electric)

• North American Distribution Sales Manager. Responsible for all aspects of Distribution and OEM business

for the US, Canada, and Mexico. Responsibilities included: channel structure, customer acquisition and

marketing programs. Increased sales to $4.9M, or 63% growth, and increased customer base from 13 to 18

customers with minimal resources. Managed two sales managers. (2000-2004)

• Western Regional SunChoice Dealer Sales Manager. Responsible for sales and dealer support for the

western region residential packaged systems. Increased sales 1087% in two years from $0.5 M in 2000 to

$6.0 M in 2002. Also increased active dealers from 9 to 19. Helped launch the first packaged solar systems

at Home Depot. Provided significant contributions to marketing concepts, design and implementation.

(2000-2004)

Supply Chain Manager for SunChoice Program. Managed, and fulfilled all purchasing, warehousing,

receiving, packaging, shipping and supplier relations for 2 years while sales expanded from 12 to 40

systems per month. Established the UPS Warehouse systems fulfillment relationship and created all

procedures. All completed successfully through triple digit growth and limited resources. (2000-2002)

Wafer Acquisition. Voluntarily undertook the additional responsibility of wafer acquisition during the

supply shortage of 2000. Recruited 3 new suppliers and maintained another 5 during this period. Also

developed new sales and communications tools for the department. (2000)

BP Solar, Fairfield, CA

• Dealer Support Coordinator. Responsible for program development and support of the BP Solar Partner

group and the Partners’ dealer networks. Acted as the dealers “voice” to assure proper support from their

distributor. Developed programs to help increase dealer loyalty and sales.

• Site Manager. Managed $6M module and BOS inventory, and order fulfillment. Responsible for 8 person

staff of sales administration and warehouse personnel.

• Managed the PV+ packaged system dealer training programs. Helped launch one of the first packaged

systems for the residential market.

Southwest Windpower, Flagstaff, AZ, Marketing & Sales Director

• Developed detailed marketing and sales programs for the world's largest manufacturer of battery charging

wind turbines.

• Technical sales for 40 accounts worldwide. Increased sales from $0.5M to $3.1M during 3-year period.

• Supervised the development of all promotional materials, advertisements and support documentation.

Assisted in the development, placement and launch of new product lines.

Molello Design and Marketing, Flagstaff, AZ, Co-Owner

• Responsible for client/account management and advising. Developed marketing plans and communications

materials. Assisted new businesses with complete start-up marketing packages.

• Clients included insurance, real estate, tax accounting and trucking companies.

Whitetail Ski Company, Mercersburg, PA, Director of Snowboarding

• Developed the entire snowboard program during the inaugural year of the resort. Duties included creating

all of the policies and procedures, site planning and complete staff hiring and training.

• Scheduled and taught all training camps, and ran competitive programs throughout the season. Manager for

12 instructors.

Burton Snowboards, Stratton, VT, Assistant Director/Co-Head Instructor of Snowboarding

• Helped develop and run the first instructional program at a major ski resort. Trained instructors and students

and expanded the program through the first two years.

• Manager for 10 instructors. Sponsored team rider for 10 years.

• Innovated new teaching techniques and assisted in development of first snowboard instructional manual.

• Assisted in market strategy meetings for the advancement of the products, sport and industry. Liaison and

public relations person between ski and snowboard industries.
