. Implemented EDI and RF WMS infrastructure to increase productivity and
reduce costs. Redesigned warehouse layout to increase our pallet
positions from 2,880 to 4,828. This kept our costs competitive by
decreasing our price per pallet by 45% while increasing our inventory
accuracy to 99.99%
. Managed new business objectives in services increasing revenue by 4
million dollars with profit of 1.7 million dollars.
. Decreased cost of assembly by doing it in house verses outsourcing. This
saved our company 30 % of the cost and gave us the flexibility to produce
on demand. This also saved on the trucking from one facility to the other
and back
. Launched the "Katy Perry" & "Selena Gomez" Fragrance nationally. I am
overseeing the entire project including but not limited to production,
manufacturing, distribution to all of the major supply chains. This
project grossed $40,000,000.00 in sales with $22,000,000.00 of net

. Reduced overtime expense, improved accuracy from 91% to 99% and reduced
backlog from 10 days to 2: Employees were working 16 hours per day
making numerous errors. Analyzed the situation, recommended a 2nd shift,
the hiring of additional staff and re-assignment of functions.

. Recovered compensation for additional services customers required:
Documented the additional services customers were requiring outside their
additional quote and applied costs to each so sales executive's could
recover labor and supply costs thus improving the bottom line.
. Outsourced seasonal volume: A large appliance customer had peak needs 4
months per year. Recommended outsourcing to another local facility
negotiated a contract and coordinated the flow from the customer to the
new warehouse provider eliminating adding year-round space.
. Provided the leadership to build a team culture get things done and
better serve customers: Provided the training, communication, processes

By starting up a state-of-the-art Contract Packaging/Re-Packing facility
securing the company's reputation as the best in the industry. Purchased
equipment, conveyor, computer hardware and software. Hired 300 temps due
to the seasonal nature of the business.
. Raised inventory accuracy from 91.3% to 99.7%: Installed satellite
systems in each building providing the capability to enter receipts as
they arrived and shipments as they left; allowing cycle counts weekly
versus bi-monthly; and helped reduce order turnaround from 3 days to less
than 1.
. Directed the expansion from 4 warehouses to 7: Worked with fast-growing
customers to forecast their needs and added 200,000 square feet in 3
increments to provide the service they needed to grow.
. Reduced workforce by 15%: Created a complex formula for determining
manpower requirements between locations; automated data collection by
creating "Manpower" to mine the data and maintain the database permitting
the projection of future costs based on possible changes to the business.
. Successfully negotiated a Teamsters contract avoiding interruption in
business: By visiting all warehouses weekly and building solid
relationships with all members in the year preceding contract
negotiations was able to move the contract from 3 to 5 years freezing
costs at the 3 year budget.

. Supported the growth of the company from $10 million to $800 million in 4
years: Secured a building to handle 35 million units shipped per year,
managed building setup process from the electric to the conveyors,
installed an inventory system, negotiated a union contract and hired 350
employees.
. Implemented a state-of-the-art pick-to-light system: Purchased a new RF
pick-to-light and WMS system, documented procedures and trained all new
employees on the new system, which enabled increasing output from 44,000
to 80,000 units per day. Accuracy rose to 99.8% and order turnaround
from 1 week to 2.5 days.
. Saved $5 million annually by outsourcing distribution to a third party
provider: Negotiated a 5 year contract with a facility with the most
modern WMS and sortation equipment available increasing the ability to
ship to 10 million units per year.
. Recovered $2 million by consolidating facilities in under 90 days
following an acquisition: Created a plan, before the consolidation was
announced, for the shut down and movement of inventory and the slotting
in the remaining facility.
