WORK EXPERIENCE

PDM College of Engineering (Rohtak) Jan – June 2014

I collaborated with a team of 4 engineers to create an online examination system - an efficient & effective system

to avoid wasting time for the checking of exams. My role on the team was to manage the database using basic and

advanced SQL along with some PL/SQL to create, update, delete, and manage project databases and connectivity

of database using java at front end through My SQL.

Jacobs CES (Gurgaon) July 2014 – present

I am currently assigned to a World Bank Funded project on the Development of Hydrological Design Aids (Surface

Water) under Hydrology Project. I am working with a team to monitor the database for the design and development

of a desktop application using PostregreSQL and MapWindow to assess water resource potential/availability,

estimation of design flood, and sediment rate estimation. The majority of the project involved da tabase

management through the creation of tables, functions, and procedures, in addition to using .net, C#, and wcf at

the frontend.

PROJECTS

Website Design Year 2013

I designed a 15 page website based on HTML and CSS, using several tags, linking codes, and style sheets to make

thorough navigation and a clean design.

Chat Server Software Year 2013

I developed a chat server software using Java Socket Programming in which all the message connection

establishment is done through ports in which a client is able to establish a connection to chat upon receiving a

response.

Employee Database and Payroll Management Year 2012

I created a project using C++ programming functions and procedures that allows one to calculate employee

salaries in addition to managing employees and their roles through the database.
