REDUCTION ASSOCIATE IN POT ROOM in respective field.
I was working at HADEED STEEL (SABIC), SAUDI ARABIA as a WRSS TECHNICIAN (ROLLING MILL
DIVISION).

[Vedanta Resource Plc. An Indian based LSE listed metal & mining major, is the largest Greenfield smelter project at
single location for Aluminum production in the world targeting total annual production capacity of 6million ton by
2014 2015.
My Job Objective was in VEDANTA:-
Ensuring Zero pending works to achieve 95% Current Efficiency of electrolysis process.
•
Ensuring noise should be <12 mV and voltage shake < 20 min and no multiple AE to reduce pot working
•
voltage.
Development of sub ordinate.
•
Active team member of short circuit Test of 328 KA aluminum pot line during the start up of plant.
•
100% compliance of SOP to reduce abnormality in pots.
•
Co ordination with other department to ensure regular availability of resources for operation during normal
•
and emergency situation.
Planning for operation tools tackles spares, consumables and other raw materials for regular use.
•
Control of Alf3 %, Bath temperature, CBT, SST, ACD to ensure all technical parameter in range.
•
Regular audit of anode covering to ensure zero burn off.
•
100% compliance of anode change schedule to ensure 24 HRs ACD should be > 95%.
•
Successful handling of power outage.

Responsibility of Maintaining Housekeeping around working area using 5 S methodology.
•
Review and analysis of production report of shift.
•
Timely reporting to senior production manager about execution of plans and records maintained for effective

production.
