. Program and operate CNC mills, EDM, lathes, boring equipment, large

surface grinders, precision small millwork, proficiently weld (e.g.,

MIG, TIG, oxyacetylene, brazing, etc.). Inspect results using CMM,

optical comparators, micrometers, GD&T part layouts, schematic &

blueprint reading, etc.

. Supervise small teams in both union & non-union facilities.

Responsible for new program launch of BMW X-5 closure parts including all-

aluminum vehicle hood assembly cell. Successfully accomplished precision

hood hem process not achieved for 18 months prior. All five (5) automobile

panels attained over 96% statistical process capability.

Managed the new GM Trailblazer tooling through all phases of design to mass

production of 21 month program. Successful program launch resulted in

promotion to body shop tool & die supervisor. Plant later closed.
