Operations Support. Coordination of infrastructure needs for the

Las Vegas site office. Office management, database administration,

presentation writing and development, technical editing and

formatting. Maintaining and tracking of local and remote personnel

training classes and required certifications. Conducting

management safety compliance assessments. Initiating and

obtaining approval of intellectual copyright applications for

submittal to the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Intellectual

hard copy SEP's, Integrated Plans, Reports and deliverables to

STR. Assisted in creation of Defense Program Award of Excellence

Team Roster forms for selection committee. Created RTBF

organizational chart for posting on NSTec inSite. Created the

Integrated Planning Project Notebooks for distribution to RTBF

staff.

Nuclear Material Review Board (NMRB). Provide project support to

the Board with facilitation of meetings. Coordinate with outside

agencies in relation to the NMRB review process. Manage and

monitor project specific corrective action items to ensure

completion. Maintain and oversee project based document creation,

flow, and Board approvals. Document creation and control on the

NMRB NSTec SharePoint site.

International Projects. Operations support to technical tool

database projects for Canada (Western Coal) and Australia (Alpha

Coal, Queensland Liquid Natural Gas, Ma'aden Aluminum Smelter),

performed database testing and developed the associated database

user-guide Performed technical editing and formatting for the

Alberta, Canada Oil Sands Research and Information Network (ORSIN)

report on Oil Sands plant decommissioning costs.

1996 - 2002 Assistant Construction Contracts Engineer, Florida Department of

Transportation District IV Construction, Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Processed and approved all state and district monthly, progress,

and tentative pay estimates based on budgeted work program

quantities in excess of $700M for over 60 construction road and

bridge projects in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and

Indian River counties in accordance with state standard

specifications for road and bridge construction.

Ensured that current construction contracts remained on schedule

by tracking and approving all contract time extensions, time

suspensions, weather delays, beginning construction and final

completion notices and maintaining approval status in mainframe

databases (CARS, DCP, IMS, TSO). Ensured that contracts remained

within budget based on approved supplemental agreements, change

orders, and contingencies. Ensured that contracts remained under

budget and on time based on contract enforced liquidated damage

clauses. Compiled data and produced and provided Monthly Status of

Estimate, Time Summary, and Unpaid Bill reports to resident

engineers for all construction contracts. Assisted contracts

engineer with the processing and approval of supplemental

agreements, change orders, and contingencies to contracts.
