Built and implemented Grand Rounds program at 25 major teaching and
National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated hospitals nationwide. Recruited
top-tier faculty and oversaw all program logistics and production. Mentored
the team on all aspects of Grand Rounds; expanded the KOLs' circle beyond
physicians, and worked closely with them as they developed the content.
Developed highly successful recruiting strategies to target a comprehensive
audience and, simultaneously, created/managed a series of 40 tele-symposia
on Inflammatory Bowel Disease using professional moderators.
Program Director, EDU-group 2003
Executed the company's first-ever Investigator's Meeting. Distinguishing
components included: a short two-part video montage to engage the audience;
an interactive platform that allowed the client to assess, in real-time,
each team's comprehension of the protocol, predict procedural compliance,
and extrapolate anticipated study outcomes. Welcome packets included:
extensive program and detailed logistical information and leisure activity
recommendations. Concurrently managed a series of 8 bylined articles, a
tele-conference series, and a CME-certified CD-ROM.
Program Manager, St. Luke's - Roosevelt Hospital Center (SLRHC)
2002
Met with department heads/course directors throughout each project
(submitting recommendations as needed); prepared budgets; liaised with
faculty regarding content submissions; managed meetings and on-site
supervision; handled AV and site logistics. Also served as the recording
secretary for the CME and Joint Accreditation Committees of SLRHC and the
Beth Israel Medical Center.

Program Director, Physicians World 2001-
2002
Directed activities of the National Initiative on Pain Control (NIPC), a
multifaceted educational program designed for primary care physicians to
create awareness and broaden/solidify the educational foundation of
diagnosing and managing neuropathic pain. Launched this series of 48 Dinner
Dialogues following 9.11.01. Proposed a comprehensive CME program to
satisfy the (then) new California pain management CME requirements. Alerted
senior management to a $7MM oncology opportunity then worked on the grant;
incorporated cutting-edge technology into new business presentations;
initiated, then implemented, a series of SOPs that codified the approach to
and caliber of programs.
Program Director, SandlerScience 2001
Directed two closed non-certified meetings (100+), two Johns Hopkins-
accredited ACOG 2001 symposia, and two international meetings. Proposed and
sold enduring materials repurposed from non-certified activities, designed
all-inclusive budget and program prep sheets; wrote and implemented SOPs;
identified new business opportunities for existing clients; updated
tactical plans based on rollout strategy and market activity.
Project/Meeting Manager, Colwood Healthworld 1998-
2001
Managed $4.5+ MM account from ALZA Pharmaceuticals (now a subsidiary of
J&J) during the 2 critical years surrounding the Ditropan XL launch. Built
and implemented comprehensive educational strategies targeted to the
primary and secondary markets. Programs included advisory boards,
audiotapes, slide kits, peer-reviewed journal articles, satellite symposia,
speaker's training orientation sessions, and videotapes. Performed
competitive analyses to effectively position client(s). Cultivated and
sustained strong, and valuable, relationships with funders and KOLs across
multiple therapeutic categories, CME accreditors, and hospitality, travel,
and production vendors.
Associate Project Director, Health Education Technologies
1997
Implemented closed investigator's meetings, certified satellite symposia,
and scholarship programs. Researched and wrote Speaker's Bureau compendium
of ID specialists (with multiple cross-references) for vaccine-related
lectures along with new business proposals to expand clients' existing
scope of business. Reduced project production costs by 15%. Liaised with
client/grantor, faculty, CME/CE accreditors and vendors; coordinated and
managed meeting planning and on-site logistics, developed on-site
materials, and reconciled project finances. Compiled timelines, budgets,

Emergency/Pediatric/Neonatal Paramedic
Stabilized and transported critically ill neonatal, pediatric, and adult
patients. Clinical proficiencies required in-depth training with frequent
state-and-hospital mandated re-certifications. Attended daily neonatal and
pediatric ICU rounds, weekly Grand Rounds, and other educational
activities. Worked concurrently on clinical department marketing materials
(drafted copy, designed layout); community outreach, selling hospital
