for Petrochemical Refineries and commercial buildings.

Structural design analysis of concrete and steel structures due to

vertical loads such as dead, live, snow and lateral loads such as

wind or seismic, design of beams, columns, footings(pad and

piles), shearwalls, tilt-up, retaining walls (concrete or

masonry), reviewing shop/vendor fabrication detailed drawings,

preparing and checking general arrangement of structural framing

and foundation plans, sections, detailed drawings and plan

checker response. Resolving complex interferences and interfaces

between new and or existing oil refineries, commercial buildings

and equipment facilities. Coordination with architects, project

engineers and other disciplines working to resolve design

problems. Made site visits to observe the trenched footings with

reinforcing bars placed prior to pouring of concrete, checked the

steel beams connections and sizes to conform with the structural

design drawings and specifications, checked the floor/roof framing

members sizes, spacing and connections.

Analyzed structural steel members for pipe racks, equipment supports

and platforms using STAAD and foundation design both spread footings

and drive shaft using spread sheets and STAAD foundation. Calculated

concrete volumes for footings and prepared materials take-off for

reinforcing bars and structural steel. Reviewed shop drawings for

4/14-7/14 EXXON Mobil projects. Familiar in determining dimensions and

elevations of various structures such as pipe racks, platforms using

SmartPlan Review with LFM.

Performed structural analysis of steel framing such as equipment

supports and platforms using RISA and foundation design for steel

columns. Prepared materials take-off for both structural steel and

2008 - 2012 concrete for spread footings, caissons, CMU walls and slab. Made site

visits at the International Paper Mills in Orange, TX and Vicksburg,

MS projects to verify the conditions of existing structures for
