(PMO) MANAGER” in Victoria that you have posted.

I am a seasoned IT Manager skilled in leading IT resources, technical operations and business consulting

teams and I have extensive hands on program and project management experience. My Project and

Portfolio Management experience encompasses workforce planning, budgeting, project health reporting

and analysis, business process improvement and delivery management, project definition, execution,

operations transition planning, change and release management. I have worked extensively with multiple

stage gate based portfolio and project management methodologies and I am very experienced with the

PMI/PMBOK based project and program management principles as well as other project management

approaches including IBM/Rational RUP, Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF) and others. I am also

ITIL v3 certified.

Although my family and I currently live in Calgary, we are originally from the west coast and we would

SUNCOR ENERGY – Managed IT Infrastructure projects for with a total budget of $4.8M.

1. Deployment, testing and data migration of Suncor's Global RSA Authentication Manager

(SecurID) solution to new infrastructure and software, including new interfaces to identity

management system.

2. IBM Power 7 / AIX Server deployments and configuration to integrate with Suncor's existing IT

standards for Tier 1 Networking, Storage and backup solutions, and databases (Oracle and DB2).

3. Enterprise Service Monitoring tools and process reviews, roadmap and plan for upgrading tools

and processes. A pilot implementation of IBM Tivoli Omnibus and IBM Smart Cloud Cost

Management was also completed. Project was canceled after pilot.

4. Legacy Windows 2000 Servers OS lockdown using McAfee Solid core.

HUSKY ENERGY – Managed IT projects with a total budget of $1.85M.

TALISMAN ENERGY – Project Management / Business Analysis for projects with a total budget of

$1.2M.

Founded the company in 1995 as a software development and consulting firm specializing in

Microsoft technology based solutions, and grew it into an organization of 30 consultants, sales,

recruiting, and support staff generating approximately $4.5 million dollars of annual sales.

Provided direct consulting to key clients in the areas of IT delivery and services team restructuring

and change management and delivery management, project planning and project health

reporting, business analysis, and systems architecture.

Obtained venture capital funding, restructured and transitioned company from a privately held
