Brown & Sharpe Mfg. Co. was acquired by Hexagon in 2001. Managed an R&D team (nine engineers) charged with
the development of Brown & Sharpe products. From there started involvement in the leadership of international de-
velopment projects.
Led development project on second generation ONE machine .
Led world-wide launch of Micro-Hite DCC, including technology transfer and production startup in Switzerland.
Led low cost controller development project (UMP-360), which was based on technology of the newly acquired
Sheffield Measurement. Challenges included managing compatibility with Hexagon technology and coordinating
world-wide integration in CMMs.
Key contributor to manufacturing plant relocation project and optimization of production processes .
Introduced new global collaboration approach based on early SharePoint tech nology (created Hexagon portal).

This included development of a new software (HexCal) and fixture system, which integrated an API 6 -D laser.
