electronic products to the aircraft.
. Assisted technicians in troubleshooting aircraft electrical system
problems.
. Provided system performance analysis to ensure proper operation as per
the design specification.
. Headed up projects & design reviews with multi-engineering teams such
as structural, stress, 3D wire routing, avionics, High Intense Radio
Frequency (HIRF) and Electromagnetic Compatibility/Interference
(EMC/EMI) to install and/or modify new and existing systems to the
aircraft.
Accomplishments:
. Designed electrical schematics using AutoCAD & calculated electrical
load analysis to integrate components and systems such as the Galley &
Interior Lighting, BE Coffee Maker, Microwave, Water/Waste System and
Satellite Communication Systems.
. Analyzed wiring, connectors and the other electrical components to
ensure they met Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS)
requirements.
. Installed and supported the integration of the new Learjet 85 Aircell
Cockpit Phone System, which enabled pilots to have phone communication
from their headset and Rockwell Collins touchscreen flight deck via
ARINC 429 software for the Learjet 85.
. Interfaced with 3D Wire routing and structural engineers to layout
routing and physically locations for electronic components; while
making sure High Intense Radio Frequency (HIRF) and Electromagnetic
Compatibility/Interference (EMC/EMI) standards were met by selecting
electrical cables & connectors with EMI shielding. As well as planning
ground and flight tests on aircraft to survey if any possible
interference occurs.
. Established and designed customer options within the cost constraints
of the Learjet 85 program budget for Aircell's Iridium & Inmarsat
Satcom along with Air to Ground (ATG) Internet System for the cabin
phone system on the new Learjet 85; which will provide voice
communication, wireless access point with unlimited internet and
interface with Lufthansa Technik's new Cabin Management System for In-
Flight Entertainment (IFE).
. Setup, scheduled weekly meeting and had various design reviews such as
Critical Design (CDR) with Aircell to manage and electrically design
their product into the new Learjet 85 aircraft under Supplemental Type
Certification (STC).
Electrical Engineer (2011)
Modified and designed new and existing electrical schematics on sustaining
aircraft programs such as the Learjet 40, 45 and 60 platforms.
Accomplishments:
. Modified Heater Blanket wiring diagram and the bill of material (BOM)
to in coordinate new heated blankets on the Lear 40, 45 & 60.
. Researched and presented the new Lufthansa Technik's Cabin Management
System to internal coworkers and suppliers.
. Designed the Lear 70 & 75 Cabin Power Switch for emergencies to
turn off power in the cabin.
Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, Wichita KS
2008 - 2009
Electrical Engineer II
Implemented avionics/electrical product improvements and developed specific
customer requests. Other roles, I:
. Implemented research in planning, design, and testing of both avionics
and electrical systems and/or related equipment.
. Communicated with vendors on design materials, installation manuals,
wiring diagrams, interface documents and wire routing harnesses for
installation in various aircrafts.
. Certified of 14 CFR Part 23 and 25 projects including Certification
Plans, Ground and Flight Test Plans and Reports, System Safety
Assessments, Functional Hazard Assessments and Compliance Reports FAA
Supplemental Type Certification (STC).
Accomplishments:
. Installed Honeywell's 2nd Automatic Direction Finder (ADF) Antenna on
the Hawker 4000 by designing the wire schematics that integrating the
2nd ADF Antenna to the 2nd ADF Unit, making sure all tuning & EMI
procedures were met during Ground and Flight Testing.
. Integrated and Installed Rockwell's Adaptive Flight Display (AFD) w/
Video Display for all Beech King Air Models, working with existing
wire schematics connections and adding video wires for video
capability. As well as writing up Certification Plans for testing and
Compliance Reports under FAA STC.
. Wrote Certification Plans for all King Air Models such as the
Integrated Flight Information, TCAS I Skywatch HP, GPS 4000 & FMS
