The TJX Companies, Inc. is the leading off-price retailer of

The module deals with the configuration of the system for Oracle Advanced

Benefits and the creation of reports for different plans, eligibility,

* Designed the custom logic for EIS security cursor to restrict access

Fidelity Employer Services Company (FESCo) is a subsidiary of

Fidelity Investments, an international provider of financial services and

investment. Fidelity Employer Services Company (FESCo) has teamed up with

Infosys in order to provide the human resources and benefit services for

the client l.B.M for the retirement, pension, health and welfare, human

resources administration, and payroll programs. I.B.M being a large

organization, frequent acquisitions, and enhancements to various

Eligibility, Rate and Life event setups take place along with the ongoing

production issues. This project deals with OAB setup changes, functional

designs, unit testing for acquisitions/enhancements/production issues

before handling the designs to SQA for system testing.

Bank of America is one of the complex client implementations in

the client service unit. The complexity of the project increases as it

requires client specific knowledge. This project dealt majorly with the

design changes pertaining to the annual enrolment. It involved a lot of

changes in the eligibility, Rates, Carriers, Extract and Ongoing Event

changes for the populations in the Health and Other Benefits System (HOBS)

and adequate changes w.r.t the payroll configuration.

Responsibility

* Prepared Functional Design specification for Data conversion,

customization and various inbound and outbound interfaces.

* Created single client feed (SCF) for loading the data into the system

through the back-end.

* Conducted the Joint Application Requirements Definition (JAR/JAD)

specifications. Business rules for the Oracle fast formulas were designed

Project Overview and Scope:

The project deals with providing the support for multiple

clients. It mainly involves the testing of the system that provides the

required Medical and Life Insurance benefits for the employees dealt across

multiple clients. The set-up of the extract files i.e. carrier, payroll

files etc with the appropriate layouts is validated and issues found

henceforth are raised as incidents. These incidents are raised against the

configuration team and the defects found in the system are fixed by them.

My team owns the responsibility of end to end maintenance of 1

module consisting of 5 different clients. Maintenance activity goes in the

form of a cycle of releases with each release for duration of 3 weeks.

First week goes in analyzing the issues reported by the client and

categorizing them into genuine bug fixes, data issues, enhancements etc. In

the second week we further analyze the issue and identify proper fix or

code change for the issue and then configuring the same in the Oracle Apps

11i system. System testing, UAT (user acceptance testing) and any re-

configuration if any are carried over in third week, and then the code goes

live.
