. Supervised the daily construction of AT&T fiber project in Dade and
Broward counties including the installation of underground (duct
system) manholes, micro duct and micro fiber, and the pulling and
splicing of fiber.
. Confirmed proper permits were issued and supervised traffic (MOT)
setup and safety procedures.
. Prepared daily and weekly reports for AT&T on as-builts concerning the
project.
. Worked with international representatives installing confidential
tracking systems for the fiber route.
Engineering Manager/Field Engineer (1998 - 2002)
. Prepared feasibility studies for AT&T, MMFN, Florida Power & Light,
and other companies as requested.
. Managed the field-engineering department for aerial and underground
design.
. Worked closely with Hyperion Project Manager determining the most
suitable and cost efficient fiber route for Palm, Broward, and Dade
counties in Southeast Florida.
. Trained new employees regarding the proper method of measuring
existing cable heights.
. Quality control of field maps and final CADD prints.
. Mapped fiber new-built aerial, and underground; and, make-ready on
poles for sufficient clearance.
