the implementation of recovery policies and procedures, provide support to the Tissue Recovery Coordinators
and Per Diem Staff, and assume monthly Team Lead call duties to guide staff through the various aspects of
the tissue donation process.
• Ensured that quality recovery practices are employed as per the AATB and FDA guidelines and that policies
and procedure and local protocols are adhered to. I was to provide oversight and direction to all tissue
recovery staff to meet the needs of hospital personnel, Coroners, funeral homes, donor families and future
transplant recipients.
• Responsible for making sure that recovery policies and protocols are being followed, are consistent, and that
every donation opportunity was maximized. Other tasks includes donor charting, collection and labeling of
donor testing samples, transport, and surgical prep of the donor, reconstruction and preparation for release of
the donor’s body.
