Responsible for fabrication and
erection of FGD duct work, including
tie in to unit. Supervised
fabrication, transportation and

12-02 4-03 Gem Ind. Contractor 900 MW Combustion Tangential Fired
Trenton Channel P.P. Boiler
Trenton, Mi. Boilermaker GF, directed replacement
of the Super Heat Element Section and
Economizer Sections at the Trenton
Channel P.P. for Detroit Edison. This
outage was the first to use Orbital
welders on a Super Heat replacement.

3-01 12-01 Kvarner / Songer 900 MW Westinghouse Co-Gen Units
Jackson, Mi. Boilermaker GF directed the erection
of six Combined Cycle Units. This
included all stair towers and
platforms and all stacks and
silencers.
100 + tradesmen, no recordable
injuries.
9-99 5-20 Bechtel 1048 MW Westinghouse PWR Reactor
Bridgeman, Mi. Foreman and then promoted to GF.
Duties were to direct the off loading
and transporting of four Steam
Generators to a temporary facility in
preparation of placement in
Containment. Also on this project the
Steam Domes were removed and taken to
the Turbine Deck to have the internals
replaced. After Steam Generator and
Steam Dome were fit, CB&I completed
the weldment. Other duties included
coordinating the Stress Relief crew
and Fire Watch in Containment.
