Responsibilities
My responsibilities were to advertise and promote Top Notch Contractors skill and finished products to
potential customers. I would interpret the customer’s desired finished product from rough draft drawings,
pictures, and the customer’s ideas in order to design multiple preliminary drafts and then final blue prints.
Once final decisions are made by the customer I would build a legally binding contract between Top Notch
and the customer. Once approval of contract I would manage the material and labor cost to keep within
budget and timeframe of contract. Since I was the lead cut man for the small company for 5 plus years I
would also build and fabricate majority of all of the finished products produced by Top Notch Contractors
"e.g." custom cabinet building & installation, door and window installation, CNC mill work, interior trim,
framing, commercial and residential renovation, etc...
Accomplishments
I started as a Carpenters Hand to simply assist the more experienced carpenters on the jobs, while
learning the trade from them. Top Notch at the time was a small company with a small clientele base in
which I promoted and grew clientele to the point where the company had to upsize the employees and
company capitol to fulfill increasing product and labor demand. I assisted the growth of clientele thru
presentation of finished product by using 3D drafting programs during the bidding process to visually
reinforced and convince the customer that we are professional and that we know exactly what they want
as well as we know how to build a quality product with price and budget in mind.
Skills Used
Social Skills to communicate with clientele, employees, and other contractors. Mathematics which is the
most basic fundamental skill needed in this field of work. Accounting to document and manage all money
between clients and Top Notch, employees and Top Notch, and suppliers and Top Notch. Basic Computer
Skills to compose contracts, material list, and pay roll. 2D and 3D CAD Skills in order to aid in bidding
process and to instruct builders through the duration of construction through my design and blue prints.
Carpentry Skills to build such a variety of products as desired by clientele.
Field Supervisor

Responsibilities
Every weekend I was responsible for the overall supervision of the employees progress made on the
power washing services that Royal offered. "e.g." concrete chemical pressure washing and recovery in
multi-layer parking garages, power wash exotic polished rock face used at floor level of high rise buildings
in and around the greater Houston area.
Accomplishments
my impact on this company was to increase productivity because of a major increase in demand for our
services. Royal was the first and only company licensed to recover waste water in Houston because of a
power washing water recovery law that was passed within the city limits. Royal was a small part time
company when they started. I helped to alleviate the overflow work that the original personal could not
manage.
Skills Used
Basic Mechanics to maintenance power washing, power generators, and recovery equipment. Leadership
by directing crews of their task at hand. Organizational Skills for scheduling building closures so our
services do not conflict with their business and traffic throughout the high rise and parking garages during
business hours. Endurance for working 50+ hours at Top Notch and to work an additional 20+ hours at
Royal on a weekend night schedule.

customer vehicles "e.g." (brakes, trim, truck lift, tune ups, steering, and suspension repair).
Accomplishments
I would affectively stay on schedule with mechanic duties and often finish ahead of desired deadlines with
complete customer satisfaction.
Skills Used

responsible for the accurate reconstruction of that vehicle. Multi-Tasking with high volume of customers.

lifts and mounting custom engines and transmissions into customer vehicles.

Responsibilities
Everyday duties with J.M.I. were to design interior cabinets and custom trim work for apartment leasing
office renovations throughout the San Antonio and West Texas area. After submitting my multiple
renovation designs to J.M.I. My responsibilities were to insure progress of work completion according to
my production schedule. J.M.I. also held contracts over complete apartment rehabilitation and renovation.
While I was managing the construction of the leasing office if there were any other subcontractors working
for J.M.I. falling behind on production, I would step in with my crew to assist their production to maintain
scheduled satisfaction.
Accomplishments
While at J.M.I. I feel that I was able to contribute my design and construction skills to keep a variety of
multi-skilled carpenters working in harmony with a single goal in mind. To complete the job with the
upmost quality while satisfying the customer in a timely and cost effective manner.
Skills Used

accessories.
Accomplishments
I was able to alleviate the company’s existing mechanics so they could concentrate on the over scheduled
mechanical repairs. I was able to do this because I would handle all of the drive up customers wanting
regular service to their vehicle. By keeping the other mechanics focused on their jobs, the company’s
revenue grew because of the increase of satisfied and informed customers.
