Afghanistan. After 7 month, I was promoted to IT Desktop Services
Supervisor and served in this position for 10 months. I then joined the
Procurement Systems team as a Procurement Systems Specialist. After 2
years, I was promoted to Procurement Systems Supervisor for the Middle East
Theater. I held this last position for 1.5 years, until the LOGCAP 3
mission ended in Iraq.
During my time with the Procurement Systems team, the highlight of my
duties included: Serving and leading as the SAMM SME and cross-functional
technical consultant throughout the procure-to-pay cycle (SAP MM, P2P); I
registered and managed vendors and buyers in RFX; Trained and provided
front-end support for SAP Net Weaver, MySAP, SAP MM and RFX; Composed
Contractor Purchasing System Reviews during audits; Performed data clean-up
from legacy to SAP including converting POs to global standards;
Communicated systems' requirements to end users and department heads; Lead
a globally distributed 8-person team in providing vital 1st-tier ERP system
