Trained and supervised 15-20 carriers under conditions of darkness, adverse weather, printing press
breakdowns, and other obstacles to smooth operations. Carriers were on 90-day contracts, so there was
constant turnover and ongoing training of a group that varied from mature adults to unreliable teenagers.
Newspaper was a 365 days/year business, and I had full accountability for results when a carrier failed to
show up for any reason, the paper still had to be delivered. Responsible for efforts to increase subscriptions.
