As the IT Department Manager at the NYDC, I was responsible for ensuring maximum availability and support of Distribution Systems through management of personnel (FDS and third party) and equipment/supplies, as well as facilitating communication between our Corp Support Teams, our local team, and DC Operations during major troubleshooting and upgrades.

● Successfully managed and participated in the setup and installation of equipment during the startup of the NYDC (2006), physical server to HyperV server migration (2011), network printer refresh (2011), workstation and monitor refresh (2012), and network infrastructure and RF device upgrade (2014).

● Led effort to convert hard copy Mainframe greenbar reports to soft copies and eventually to on demand reports, reducing supply, printing, and energy costs.

● Ordered and maintained inventory of IT related supplies (parts, toner, labels, etc.).

● Worked directly with vendors evaluating the latest software versions and hardware equipment upgrades.

● Created several setup guides, SOP’s and process documents to be used at other DC’s edited/rewrote several similar existing documents.

● Wrote 2 VB.NET applications which were put into production at all DC’s.

Co designed and co wrote several portions of an ASP.NET/SQL Server application which tracked Team Member’s points for an EOY auction which was used by several DC’s.

● Wrote several shell scripts for production and helped maintain others.
