Worked as HR Executive in Muthoot Cardamom County Resort, Thekkady, a four
star ISO Certified Resort (ISO 9001:2008, 14001:2004 & 22000:2005) from
November 1st 2007 to January 31st 2011.
Roles and Responsibilities:-
* Recruitment :
a) Receipt of requirement from the various department head.
b) Scrutinize them and take approval from concerned authorities if the
post is new.
c) Prepare a recruitment budget and CTC for the employee and take
approval.
d) Start searching candidate from various sources- online portals,
Personal reference, Employee reference, outside consultants,
contract base.
e) Conducting Campus Interviews.
f) Verifying the recruitment report from all units and sending to top
management for approval.
* Joining formalities :
a) Administrating Joining formalities.
b) Pre employment reference checks
c) Preparation of appointment advice and intimating the same to other
departments.
d) Coordinating to get employee ID cards and email ID.
e) Preparing and entering new hire paper work.
f) Giving brief induction about the company profile and company HR
policies
g) Handling over the new hire to concerned HOD/Manager.
h) Preparation of Job profiles co ordination with HOD/Manager for new
posts
* Maintaining Employee personal files :
a) Opening a new file and closing the resigned employees file.
b) Make sure all personal records are available in this file.
c) Add all the statutory records regarding the employee (PF, ESI,
Gratuity Appl.copies etc.)
d) Keep employee signed copy of offer letter, Appointment Letter,
resume, pre.salary slip etc.
e) Periodic personal file auditing.
f) Conducting the Internal auditing in the departments of all units.
g) Verifying the Master database of all units.
* Training Co ordination :
a) Conducting Training for the Staffs according to the Training
Calendar.
b) Selecting the date co coordinating with trainers internal and
external.
c) Book the room and other facilities coordinating with facility in
charge
d) After the training, keep training logs and other feedback materials
in employee file
e) Getting the feedback from managers regarding the training
requirement.
* Processing the salary :
a) Processing the Salary of Senior Managers and GM .
b) Auditing the Salary received from different units.
c) Adding new joinees and delimiting the resigned employees.
e) Updating deductions- Loans, Debits, Advance etc.
f) Printing out the audited salary reports and get the signature from
the authorized person and send the same to accounts for bank transfer
or cheaque preparation.
h) Confirm with the accounts bank transfer has been done.
g) Collecting the cheaques from accounts and issuing to the employees.
* Statutory Compliance
a) PF
b) ESI
c) PT
d) Gratuity: Applying for gratuity for resigned employees who
completed 5 years.
e) Calculation of bonus as per the management decision. Sending the
reports to accounts for
processing the cheaque and distribute the same to all current
and resigned employees. Also
submitting the annual return in Form-D to labour department.
f) Labour Dept: Deducting and paying the labour fund from the
employee salary and paying
the same in labour department in the month of December in Form-
D.
. Staff Welfare:
a) Conducting Staff Day, Staff Tour, Sports, Games, Arts
etc.Activities.
b) Taking care of Staff cafeteria, Locker Room, Accomodation etc.
c) Preparing the staff incentive on Monthly basis and sending to top
management for approval.
d) Conducting the monthly staff meeting and distributing the Best
Employee certificate along with Staffs Birthday Cake cutting.
. Performance Appraisal:
a) Coordinating with HOD's for Performance Appraisal of Staffs on
Department wise.
b) Conducting the Appraisal.
c) Preparing the Performance Appraisal report and sending to the top
Management for approval.
. Report Generation and MIS:
a) Generating and analyzing employee attrition and training
evolution reports.
b) Monthly recruitment reports.
c) Manpower and payroll reports for higher level needs.
d) Reports as per Management requests.
e) Verifying the above mentioned reports received from all units
and sending to Top Management.
. Employee Relation:
a) Having formal and informal counseling with employees.
b) Handling corporate medical insurance.
c) Processing various letters on employees requests.
d) Employee grievance handling.
e) Conducting department wise meetings on monthly basis.
. Exit Formalities:
a) Administering exit paperwork including all statutory requirements.
b) Resignation letter from the employee with authorized
