Provide exceptional Project Controls services to company internal and external
customers. Provide timely and accurate cost and schedule information from proposal
preparation through project closeout. Enable Project Management to make timely and
effective decisions. Services include planning cost and schedule (work breakdown
structure) metrics and tools, collecting performance data (installed quantities, expended
labor hours, and other progress measurements for direct hire and subcontract work),
tracking data (daily cost compilation and monitoring), analyzing (earned value,
productivity, critical path and risk analysis), and reporting. Identify and track all changes
or potential changes to the project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and
schedule impact are given visibility with the client and project management.
Integrate cost and schedule data and reporting with the company’s accounting and
management information systems to facilitate meeting company performance and
financial goals. Involved in change control management, document control management,
and critical path method network analysis. Manage the procurement and subcontracting
life cycle from requisitioning and global sourcing of materials, equipment and
contractors to transportation and management of materials until needed by construction.
Restart & Revamp Engineering – Conoco Phillips Refinery, Roxana, IL
Prepared Engineering schedule of inspection repair work packages, Internal and Client
Cost Reports, Manpower projections, and Invoices to the client. Participated in weekly
meetings with the client to discuss schedule and cost.
Sulfur Block Unit Construction – Conoco Phillips Refinery, Roxana, IL
Was initially hired to work on the ReStart and ReVamp Engineering project on site as the
Cost Analyst, but as I became acclimated to the Corner Stone applications for URS I was
moved into the Lead Cost Analyst position for this project . I began to prepare and
analyze the Internal and Client Cost reports, subcontract, procurement, and commitment
reports. Participated in meetings with the client that includes discussions on the staffing
plan, construction equipment projections, and forecasts for direct and indirect costs.
Close to the end of the project, in addition, I assisted in the compilation of system
turnover packages for the client. During PTO, I was the backup for updating progress
and schedule with the projected construction completion date of 15Oct2011.
Sulphur Vapor Extraction – Shell Refinery, Hartford IL
Prepared and monitoring project schedule of engineering, procurement, and construction
of the process to remove the sulphur vapor from the residential area of Hartford.
Illinois Network Project – Ameren, Inc.
Serving as the lead in project controls for the analog to digital network upgrade for the
state of Illinois and northern Kentucky.
1997-2008 Anheuser Busch Inc. – St. Louis, MO
BOT Engineering – Project Management Group Planning and Scheduling Manager
Planned, developed, and managed capital construction projects from conception to start
up ranging from $100,000 to $121 Million for ABC, BEC, and Busch Creative, all
subsidiaries of Anheuser Busch. Planned and scheduled projects in the scope of Brew
house Modernizations, Packaging line upgrades, Multiple can and bottle line
replacements, Aseptic line upgrades, Introduction of plastic bottle lines with flash
pasteurization, BERS system implementations, Kathabar Unit replacements, Evaporative
Condenser upgrades, Boiler upgrades, AGV implementation and Can Plant full can line
installation and start up. The Brew house modernization in Baldwinsville also included
the planning effort of a 27 day outage which planned each discipline by crew by shift by
hours. This plan was updated twice a day and given to each superintendent prior to their
shift. Interfaced and lead the weekly construction meetings with the on site contractors
or St. Louis engineering teams depending on the status of each project. Would
communicate with each team to ensure that company procedures, safety practices, and all
levels of project execution was in place to guarantee each project completion on
schedule and under budget. Managed an average yearly capital budget of $300M.
Involved in the interviewing, selecting, training, and mentoring of new hires and co-op
students.

Project Manager
Responsibilities included project management and integrated scheduling on a distribution
center for Tropicana Orange Juice, reengineered a project schedule for the waste
treatment plant for the City of Columbus, Ohio, and generated and monitored a project
schedule and costs for the St. Louis downtown section of the Bi-State Metro Link.

Responsibilities included creating and maintaining reporting systems, cost estimates, and
forecasts for the Chemical and Specialty Division. Worked to improve the scheduling
and estimating practices; transpired hand drawn CPM charts into project schedules.
Worked with project teams to develop projected forecasts and cost estimates. Trained
and developed less experienced cost/schedule engineers on Primavera and the in house
estimating software.
