JOB PROFILE:

. Validation of BOMs received and resolution of discrepancies in

defective items.

. Generation PO based on MRP planning and other requirements and follow

up for supplies.

. Review of pending POs on weekly basis. Focused review of shortage -

continuous.

. Vendor identification and Development for material procurement.

. Technical and Commercial Evaluation and comparison of offers obtained

from vendors and negotiations on price / commercial terms.

. Releasing of Purchase Orders.

. Follow up with vendors for supply of items to maintain minimum stock

levels.

. Partially involved in directs & formalities procedures & policies for

the

procurement of imports purchases to support production schedules

consisting of issuance of purchase orders.

. Responsible for maintaining records for ISO for internal as well as

external audit purposes.

. Vendor Rating and review of performance.

. Interacts with quality assurance on matters of vendor delivered

quality & vendor rating system.

. Interacts with design engineering seeking ways to improve quality &

reduce costs of purchased materials.

. Making entries of material receipts (GRN)

. Assisting in conducting quarterly inventory audit.
