PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
MASTER PUMPS & EQUIPMENT INC. May 2013 – December 30, 2014

I have just been laid off due to oil prices; I worked out of the corporate office in a support role.
I assist the salesmen with presentations and application engineering, this is a new position in the company,
I travel around the branches working on projects, carry out product training, lead sales with EPC’s in
Houston. I was also responsible for all re-rates, VFD’s and support equipment.
I also look after the import of pumps from China; these pumps are used in the Oil & Gas sector, either
injecting salt water or for pumping oil through a pipeline.
STANDARD ALLOYS INC. (Owned by KSB Pumps AG)

HYDRA SERVICE INC. June 2012 – February 2013
Mississippi Branch Manager.
Manage a branch that is responsible for the sale of new and rental pumps along with controls, mainly to
the Municipal and Mining sector in the State of Mississippi.
I have two municipal salesmen, two service technicians and an office person. I was brought into Hydra
Service to set up and lead the Industrial pump sales, I assisted the other branches, one in Robertsdale AL,
one in Sanford FL and our Head Office branch in Warrior AL. The company represent ABS/Sulzer,
National Vertical Pumps, Truflo Pumps, (both ANSI and API 610), Godwin Dry Prime pumps and Atlas
Copco, air compressors. We also represent other manufacturers supplying equipment to the municipal
market, such as clarifiers, screens and blowers.
Sales YTD are twice that of last year and we are looking at obtaining the 2 million dollar mark.
This was a fill in job because of what happened at Atlas Copco, JC Carter.
I personally supervised and did all the stretch calculation, including impeller clearance for a 900 ft long
vertical turbine pump at a mine in Alabama. I was also involved in helping salesmen with field problems.
ATLAS COPCO / JC CARTER CYROGENIC PUMPS Aug 2010 – June 2012
Field Service Manager.
Managed the field service engineers and technicians, responsible for the scheduling of field service staff
domestically and overseas and worked to resolve field service issues. Address technical questions from
EPC’s (such as Bechtel, KBR, GS Engineering, CB&I) or direct clients. Travelled extensively overseas to
meet with clients and EPC companies, troubleshoot any pumps returned to the factory for possible causes
of failure to pumps during operation. Also because of FS Engineer shortage I was personally involved
with the installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of pump problems; these special pumps required
to operate at -160 C and are priced at around 3/4 million dollars each, I personally commissioned LNG
pumps at PTT LNG, in Thailand and Gulf LNG in USA.
At the PTT LNG facility in Thailand I was able to solve a problem with the temperature of the terminal,
with engineers from G.S. Engineering and PTT. I would not commission the send out pumps until the
send out deck suction line to the pumps was below -148 C, ideal would be -165C, they wanted me to start
at – 125 C, I asked if there was a control valve leading into the re-condenser, we checked the P&ID
drawings and found a control valve which was responsible for keeping the level of LNG in the re-
condenser at the correct level was not calibrated and was delaying the cold LNG from the storage tanks
from entering the re-condenser. In the process of cooling down the terminal we produced a lot of BOG, so
much that the BOG compressors failed and we had to flare. After Atlas Copco purchased JC Carter I was
moved to Aftermarket sales as Regional Manager responsible for the Asian Pacific area, support sales
to existing LNG terminals and FSU worldwide; focusing on pump upgrades, re-rates and replacement of
older cryogenic pumps and spare parts, I worked with the salesmen from the GAP division of Atlas
Copco.
After Atlas Copco acquired JC Carter it was evident that the company had design problems that needed
time to resolve, so this resulted in lay-offs.
