Introduction
Hello my name is Katie Jo VanMalsen, I am twenty-one years old and I live in
Plano Texas. I was born in Long Beach California, and I hope one day my career
will take me back home. I am an athlete and an extreme sports lover, and have
grown up around fast dirt bikes and anything with wheels and a motor. Most say
that I am not your typical girly girl; I like to get my hands dirty. But don’t get me
wrong although the dirt and grease is fun, I’ve got to make sure that I stay pretty
when it comes time for working. I have grown up in Texas and absolutely endure
the different opportunities that are out here. I have been involved with club sports
growing up, to waiting tables all the way up to now, something I only dreamed
about growing up. Modeling for many different well-known companies. I’m a self-
driven and determined young woman in everything that I do. I take jobs and
responsibility very serious. I take every new opportunity as chance to become
successful, and become a better me. I never let challenges defeat me, I will work
till the job is complete or the out come is as good as perfect. In difficult tasks, I
continue to stay positive with myself and encourage myself to make it the best it
can possibly be. I like to enjoy my work atmosphere and the people involved. I am I
great individual worker, but I also excel working as a team. I have had a lot of
experience in many different work environments and situations. My energetic and
outgoing personality is always remembered. I always tell myself. “You can’t take
life as serious as you think you need to, enjoy what you do and stay responsible
and up to speed, never get head of yourself. Nothing can motivate you more to be
successful than dreaming as big as you can, and working as hard as you can to
reach your goals and live out your dreams. And remember nothing is impossible
unless you give up!”
