2. More than 1000 Coronary angioplasties mainly through radial route . Competent in IVUS and FFR

for routine PCIs. Routinely perform complex angioplasties including,primary pci, left main,

bifurcation, graft pci, and CTO.

3. More than 100 permanent pacemaker implemented.[including dual chamber pacemakers,

ICD,CRT]

4. More than 100 Valvuloplasties [Including mitral & pulmonary valve dilatation]

5. More than 30 ASD device and PDA (device and coil) closure

Working as consultant interventional cardiologist in Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research

Institute,Madurai,Tamil Nadu. MMHRC is one of the largest multi specialty hospital in the state of

Tamilnadu with 950 beds. Our cardiology team has four interventional cardiologists . We do have 24/7

primary PCI programme and doing all complex coronary and structural interventions(more than 5000

angiography and around 2500 angioplasty annually). We also have a busy cardiothoracic surgery unit .
