Paralegal II/Casehandler – Foreclosure Prevention Unit
As a paralegal in the Foreclosure Prevention Unit, I have managed my own caseload as well as assisted attorneys on their
caseload. I am responsible for interviewing homeowners at the Bronx Foreclosure clinic, assessing their cases, and
drafting answers and order to show causes under the supervision of an attorney. In addition, I put together loan
modification applications for homeowners which are submitted to banks and opposing counsel. I follow up on
applications and cases through advocacy letters, and attend settlement conferences under the supervision of an attorney. I
am also responsible for managing our Funding Report and updating information on cases.

Volunteer Teacher
Currently teaching a weekly Civics and Citizenship class to U.S. residents, in preparation for their citizenship test.
Assisted residents in the application process and conducted mock interviews. Create weekly exams and lesson plans for
class, and grade homework.
Associated Press, New York, NY October 2012 – November 2014
Floor Supervisor
Evaluated vote entry operators based on performance for placement during the Midterm 2014 elections. Managed Vote
Entry Operators and verified final vote entries on election night. Addressed issues in call center and communicated with
managers and employees to resolve issues.
Vote Entry Operator
Compiled votes from county websites and submitted into the AP Vote Tracker database during the November 2012
election. Gathered votes from stringers via phone and submitted votes into the AP Vote Tracker database, and followed up
with stringers on updates during the September 2014 primary election.
