EXPERIENCE: I have obtained a well rounded knowledge of the manufacturing build process starting

from actual design work at the detail level up through assembly of the final product.

I have gained a vast knowledge of communication/management skills during my years as

A leader. I have successfully filled the role of Manufacturing Engineer and Planner.

Most recent skills gained during implementation of SAP from the legacy system MCSII.

I was in charge of cleaning up our legacy data for conversion to SAP. I lead a team of

planners and ME’s in this effort and was hands on helping in the clean up. I helped

develop the ME/Planners training guides and taught all the classes. After go live I worked

with the SAP programmers to help restore several of our transactions that were not

available in SAP. I lead an ME counsel that met twice weekly to resolve pending SAP

conversion issues.

I currently have 16 months hands on experience working in SAP as an ME/Planner role.

2013 – 2014 Triumph Aerostructures, Contractor Aerostructures

Assigned as ME/Planner

Responsibilities included Lead Production planner, start up program for Boeing 767

Tanker and Embraer 190 series Jet.

2012 – 2013 Bell Helicopter, Contractor PDS Tech

Assigned as ME/Planner

Responsibilities included producing supplier planning, working with direct employees

on How To Guides on the new systems after SAP implementation and training. Worked

with the Design Engineers on updating the Supplier Data Information.

2011-2012 Triumph Aerostructures, Vought Aircraft Division

Assigned Lead Corrective Action Team.

Responsible for all corrective actions, internal and external findings 747 and 767

program. This includes writing all corrective action planning such as MOD plans in SAP,

all floor support changes in SAP and MES. Responsible for the corrective action board

an conducting quality metrics monthly and quarterly reviews.

2008-2011 Vought Aircraft Industries, Inc., MSF Site

Assigned as Lead ME responsible for the start up program planning on 747-8 Freighter

and Passenger (IC). This is the new stretched version of the 747.Daily assignments are

given out to support the TEIR IV schedule for delivery of product on time. Cost and

Quality are monitored on a daily basis to ensure the high performance and that all

customer expectations are met. Responsible to answer for all audits being conducted, to

include in-house audits, customer audits and any escapes (NOE’s).

2007– 2008 Vought Aircraft Industries, Inc., CHS Site

Assigned as Lead ME over Cell 215. This is the last cell before delivery of the 787’s 47

and 48 sections to the customer. Responsible to ensure manufacturing has a complete

build package. I had a total of 8 ME/PE’s and 7 DE’s between 1st and 2nd shift supporting

180-200 mechanics and their build package needs. Daily assignments were given out to

support the known deficient build packages with progress checks as we go.

Also responsible for training newly assigned employees in the use of MES, IVT and

MESNC to support OPS. This was a hands on position, I was actively involved in making

planning changes, investigating parts issues as required to keep the shop moving forward.

This required extensive knowledge of assembly build up and investigation of the many

parts issues that come with a new program.

1995 - 2007 Project Manager

Responsible for all detail Production Engineering activities at Dallas including

interviewing, training, performance assessments and career paths for direct assigned

employees. Program responsibility includes C17 Airlifter, E2C Hawkeye, FA18, CH-60

Boeing 737,747,757,767,777, Gulf Stream GV and Boeing AFA program.

Responsible for cost and schedule of all assigned programs. All budget issues

negotiated with the Program Office and the IPT Leaders. Responsible for Program

support at the manpower resource level. Responsible for a three month look ahead

report to maintain manpower and keep Senior Management informed of hiring or

reduction needs.

1994 - 1995 Senior Logistics Engineering Specialist

Analyze engineering drawings to prepare provisioning technical documentation in

accordance with MIL-STD-1552/1561 and Contract Provisioning Requirements.

1991 - 1994 Technical Project Manager, Assembly Production Engineering, Level II Manager

Responsible for cost / schedule on the B2 Stealth Bomber Program. Responsible to the

CPE, Chief Projects Engineer for all program related issues. Interface with internal and

external customers to insure a quality product and customer satisfaction. Heavy travel

involved due to tri-company meetings.

1988 - 1991 Senior Production Engineering Specialist

Interpret aerospace designs and specifications as a basis for designing manufacturing

build sequences and shop floor personnel work instructions manuals. Expedite and

facilitate the manufacturing process by updating shop instructions on production

line as required.

1987 - 1988 Production Forman

Responsible for all phase’s final assembly on all major sections of the B2 Bomber.

1986 - 1987 Production Assembler

Assigned to mock-up of the B2 prototype. Assumed responsibility for buildup of

the aft major structure. Assumed all training of new employees to aft section.
