I was a 1/3 owner of National Mortgage Co. This company specialized in purchasing seller discounted

mortgage receivables and selling these instruments to investors. I sold my interest to a partner in order to

start Questa.

1981 to 1984 Convenience Stores Helena, Montana

I built and owned two convenience stores in Helena, Montana. They sold in 1984

1977 to 1981 Burrington Insurance Agency, Inc. Helena, Montana

I purchased, with my brother, a Property and Casualty insurance agency. Subsequent to this initial

purchased we acquired 3 additional agencies. We sold all insurance products including bonds. I was the

first borrower in SBA’s history that borrowed money secured by recurring insurance renewals. I sold my

interest to my brother in 1981.

1974 to 1977 Schroeder Brothers Helena, Montana

I purchased a minor interest in this company in 1976. Schroeder Bros. sold property, casualty and other

insurance products to the general public. I left to purchase my own agency.

1971 to 1974 Waite & Company Bozeman, Montana

I began my business career selling multi-line insurance products at Waite & Co. My last two years I was

the leading producer. I left for an opportunity to purchase another insurance agency.
