the IEC 61131 controller using FF/HSE module 100Base TX in the AC800F.

#1. ONGC Enterprise Wide SCADA for Production and Drilling Facilities

(Client: ONGC)

SCADA Vantage 5.1.1 & Control Builder F (ABB Software)

Description: This project aim to use and effective way to collect real time

production and drilling data and transfer it into multiple corporate data

bases to feed ONGC's business and scientific needs. I am involved in

erection and commissioning of RTU system which communicates with the field

instruments via various modes of communication protocol's like Foundation

Field Bus, Profibus, HART and MODBUS and transfers those data to SCADA

system. Also involved in installation of field instruments like SAAB radar

level transmitter, differential pressure transmitters, temperature sensors,

pressure transmitters, clamp on ultrasonic flow meters etc and also

commissioned for total flow RTU which collect the data of well head

instruments and transfer that data to GGS through radio communication.

This project aims to give the people in cooperate sector, i.e., main

office to know what's the output produced at the bottom level without

having a conversion with the person at the bottom. That is, this project

introduces 3 tier structures with Tier-1 labeled as the production

location, Tier-2 labeled as the Local Head office and Tier-3 labeled as the

Cooperate office.

Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore.
