Personal Statement

I have worked in the construction and transport industries for the last 16 years and have gained a wide variety of

skills, both practical and administrative. I am competent in all aspects of construction work including steel

fabrication and welding. I qualified to weld to a coded standard in TIG, MIG and MMA welding practices last year

including 6G pipe welding and am now focusing solely on this trade.

Since gaining my trade certificates I have gained a lot of valuable experience including process welding; structural steel

welding to a coded and inspected standard (with zero re-work); marine repair work, OXY cutting, use of Press Brakes,

Stainless welding and all other areas of steel fabrication.

I am a keen motorcyclist and traveller, I also enjoy reading and writing and have a passion for music. I am a

capable vehicle mechanic and like to keep fit by practising yoga and with regular visits to the gym. I am confident
