Civil Field Superintendent Port Mann Bridge Highway One Coquitlam BC Canada

This $2.46 billion design build project is the largest project in North

American and the widest cable stay bridge in the world. 37K of highway

improvements and interchanges. Completed several M.S.E. walls which

included both single and 2 stage Rico walls and several basket green walls.

Civil Field Superintendent I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Los Angeles, CA

This is a $1B design build of ten miles highway widening with new on ramps

and interchanges. Bridge and overpass demo. Assigned oversight to MSE and

Sound Walls, highway subgrade preparation and concrete pour.

Utility Field Superintendent Kearl Module Transport Project Missoula

Montana

Transport of oversize modules from Lewiston Idaho to Cut Bank Montana for

the Kearl Oilfields in Alberta Canada. Project consisted of raising,

removing and bury existing overhead utilities from Lewiston, Idaho to Cut

Bank, Montana to allow the modules to be transported unimpeded.

Foundation Superintendent, Pine Tree Wind Facility Tehachapi, CA

This $203 million design-build project is the largest municipally owned

wind farm in the U.S., providing 135 megawatts for Los Angeles Department

of Water and Power. The work included the transportation and erection of

90, 1.5 megawatt wind turbine generators(WTG), construction of 11 miles of

access roads, 26 miles of project roadways, WTG foundations, an Operation

and Maintenance building, and installation of over 165,000 linear feet of

cable as part of the electrical collection system. Completed 90 turbine

foundations, encompassing structural concrete and 60 foot threaded anchor

bolts including drilling, installation, grouting and stressing tension.

Completed 12 mile water-line, grading, and ditch installation work.

General Foreman, I-405 Design-Build Kirkland Stage 1 Kirkland, WA

This $47 million design-build project added one lane in each direction to I-

405 in metropolitan Seattle. Facets of the project included reconstructing

and improving an overpass and interchange traffic flow; improving safety by

reducing congestion-related accidents; improving north and southbound

merging; installing fish passage improvements at a creek; constructing

five new noise walls and relocating four existing walls; improving storm-

water detention facilities including a detention vault, wetlands, ecology

embankments and ponds. Directed and completed field operations. Engaged

significant improvements to the lake expansion portion of the fish passage

which became award winning.

Foreman, Sound Transit Seattle, WA

This $95 million project involved constructing 4.8 miles of at-

grade/elevated light rail tracks, a station, and connections to Link's

Operations and Maintenance Facility. The project also included constructing

the O & M Facility and train storage yard on a 25-acre site, including an

administrative building and facilities to service and maintain 60 to 100

light rail vehicle. Directed and completed all civil and field operations

ahead of schedule.

Foreman, Transportation Expansion Project (T-REX) Denver, CO

This $1.3 billion design-build interstate project reconstructed 17 miles of

I-25 and I-225, constructed 19 miles of new double-track light-rail transit

lines, 13 light-rail stations, three parking structures, numerous drainage

improvements, and more than 75 bridges and tunnels. The highway work

included reconstruction of eight interchanges, ranging from flyover bridges

to overpass and underpass structures. Denver's I-25/I-225 interchange is

the country's 14th busiest, carrying traffic loads that far exceeded the

original designs. Construction under live traffic required detailed traffic

staging and phasing. In addition, over 400 utilities were relocated within

the proposed right-of-way to accommodate highway widening and construction

of light rail transit. Directed and completed civil and field work

operations.
