. Description : We have been successfully employed PI and PID

controller for the performance analysis of PMSM. A performance

comparison of PI, PID has been carried out at several simulation

speeds and its similar time domain. The results of the PI controller

system are not accurate as it has more setting time. To overcome this

we implemented PID which reduces the setting time period and give more

accurate results than PI based controller and improves speed. Hence

the conclusion is that by using PID controller the performance has

been improved over PI controller.
