The next phase of the Sales Resource Center will build upon the flexible
role-based information delivery architecture of the Sales Resource Center
Phase 1, and will follow the Google portal approach to information
delivery. The second release of the Solutions Workbench is with an enhanced

CA solutions. The Solutions Workbench is Ca's central global source for

Multiple Projects
CRM Reports: Businesses always have the requirement to query old data based
on the different dimensions for different business reasons. This data is
maintained in the business warehouse and it can be queried on. To query the
data in BW, a special client software (Business Explorer) needs to be
installed on the user machine through which data can queried, these has its
own limitation such licensing, up gradation etc. To overcome the above
mentioned issues and provide the reports to multiple users over the web, a
web based application will be developed and hosted inside the portal. This
application will provide the user an ability to run reports in the BW
system in their browser.
PMETS (Project Management Electronic Tracking System) is designed to
replace the current manual process involved in approval of refinery
projects. The project documents are approved electronically by review
department. PMETS also integrated with File Net business process to manage
the documents involved in project approval process.
Success Factors SSO: SF SSO requires the user to be first authenticated at
client intranet and then be redirected to the Success Factors web site. The
goal is to reduce the number of distinct log-ins each user needs to
remember and to create a seamless experience for users from the customer's
corporate portal.
The trust mechanism between the client and Success Factors will pass
identity information to Success Factors such that it can be interpreted,
and trusted. This trust mechanism will be based on encryption, time stamps
and possibly other data such as user name and password. The primary
transport for this trust mechanism will be standard HTTPS. This is the only
way this trust can be implemented to ensure secure web connections.
Developer Portal: In order to make the Developer Portal Home page more
resource oriented having centralized repositories for all sorts of
documents related to development, project, application and environment the
current home page needs modification. Storing all the application, project
and development related documents at one centralized location on the portal
under separate document repositories allows the user to browse and get the
required document easily instead of storing them on the file server or at
scattered locations.

E-Hospira Replacement
Hospira is a spin off from Abbott Laboratories. (Hospira is the former
hospital products division of Abbott Laboratories.) As part of the spin off
activities, Hospira is required to separate its systems from Abbott
Laboratories. One of the systems to be separated is the e-Commerce system,
eHospira. The current e-Hospira system is a customized package from ATG
Dynamo. Customers, customer care, and sales representatives use it. e-
Hospira interfaces with Hospira's SAP R/3 system using custom BAPI's, and
provides users with the ability to place new orders, inquire on orders,
invoices, standing orders, credit memos, debit memos, and pricing. It also
allows users to enroll in e-mail notification for order shipments and
delays. Hospira has selected SAP's Internet Sales Application (Enterprise
version) (SAP ISA) and Internet Pricing & Configurator (IPC) to replace the
current e-Hospira system. The Application and the associated reports were
finally integrated into the CRM Portal.
