Looking for Sr level position as Plant Head/Prodn Head with 23 years

experience on Sheet Metal Pressed & Heavy Fabrication activities for Earth

Moving & Automobile industries

SYNOPSIS

Over 23 years experience in Estimation-Costing, Production Planning &

Control, Product development with fixture design, Quality Assurance,

Machine & Man Management and finally controlling of entire plant activities

as a Plant Head.

CORE COMPETENCIES

Operations, Production Planning & Control:-

< Interaction with customer/vendors, Raw matl & man-machine Planning,

scheduling, preperation of detail supply plan, manufacturing trouble

shooting, smooth execution against the target, customer satisfaction

review, preperation of MIS report, data analysis & action plan for the

failure.

< Cost reduction/cost control project with all dept through new process

(manufacturing, process flow, material handling, job off-loading), cycle

time reduction, plant re-layout, selection of machine & process, tooling

and man-machine optimum utilisation techniques, rejection & rework

reduction, optimum material nesting, minimum inventory & transportation

system and ancillary development.

< Formulating budgets, administering resources and reporting of overall

plant performance on a regular basis to the Top management through MIS

reports.

< Co ordination & interaction between all departmental heads(Purchase, SCM,

Prodn, Development, Estimation-Costing, Maintenance, QA, Admin-HR,

Stores, Sales-Marketing, Finance, Despatch) to run the plant/dept

smoothly.

< Skill on handling of material or components processing activities for

sheet metal & heavy fabrication and in developing, manufacturing &

testing of jigs & fixtures.

< Planning and effecting preventive maintenance schedules of various

machineries and instruments to increase machine up time and equipment

reliability.

< Closely involved myself in ISO 9001-2008, EMS14001-2004 & Hitachi GQD

(Global Quality Diagnosis) being a internal auditor & Lead Auditor.

< Also focus on rejection, rework, field failure area, analysis & CAPA.

Estimating-Costing, Price finalisation, Product development & Fixture

design:-

< Preparation of Cost data sheet with zero based costing of a component

/product & price negotiation with customer & suppliers.

< Designing & manufacturing of jigs, fixtures reqd. for fabrication, M/C

shop, Welding shop, QA for existing & new product development.

Man Management: -

< Assessing the training needs of the various employees in co-ordination

with the various department heads in the respective departments &

coaching employees & counselling, appraising and reviewing performance,

ensuring optimum performance.

< Periodic meeting with all employees (staff & workers) for motivation,

teamwork activities, shearing new technical thoughts etc.

< Closely involve in CSR activities, motivation scheme, tech training to

staffs/workers and making a strong healthy bonding between work force &

management.
