manager in the Food and Beverage industry for many years and enjoy ensuring that guests receive an

I have also developed skills that would apply in many different fields. I have the ability to multitask and

make decisions quickly when necessary. My time management skills allow me to complete tasks

efficiently. This skill can apply in Food and Beverage or in a busy office environment.

I enjoy the financial side of my positions, as well. Drawing up a budget and staying within those goals is

After the hotel buy out I retained my position as Food and Beverage Manager.

Food and Beverage Manager 01/2010 to 5/2013

Sage Hospitality Charlotte Marriott Executive Park – Charlotte, North Carolina

I reported directly to the Food and Beverage Director. My duties included but were not limited to hiring

and training service staff, direction and leadership within the department, scheduling and processing

departmental payroll. I managed beverage inventory, food inventory, and the food and beverage

checkbook. Upon arrival, I worked closely with the controller to bring down beverage cost. I also worked

with the service staff to bring our Guest Service Scores to national brand level and higher.

General Manager 09/2002 to 03/2010

City Club of Rock Hill – Rock Hill, South Carolina

I reported directly to the Board of Governors. My duties included but were not limited to providing day to

day leadership in the dining room, managing inventory, hiring, training, evaluation and scheduling the

FOH staff and other management team members. I managed accounts receivable and accounts payable,

payroll and budget. Planned catering and banquet events, created Banquet Event Orders. Reviewed and

assisted with the development of the menu and marketing plans with appropriate management team

members.

Bar/Floor Manager 04/1997 to 11/2002

PB Friendly’s – Fort Mill, South Carolina

I reported directly to the manager/owner. I was in charge of scheduling bar staff, ordering liquor and

supplies, maintaining inventory, daily closing duties, serving customers and preparing cocktails for the

wait staff. I enjoyed providing the best customer service possible, and the teamwork involved in a smaller

establishment. One of the highlights of my service at PB’s was winning the Best Bartender award from

our local paper in August of 2001.

preparing payroll for all stores, accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales tax preparation and

marketing. While at the SCC, I wrote and implemented the FOH training manual used at both locations.
