After I retired from federal civil service I began working to expand our

wholesalers’ to market store and distribute our products. I am also
involved with obtaining translations of our advertisements for beverage
sales in Japan and Asia.

2012
My position supervised a staff of 8 providing Human Resources,
Administrative, Logistical and Facilities Management support to
an Army Transportation unit. Assigned tasks to staff and reviewed
their work. Daily I provided management and subordinate units’
guidance on applying various administrative and personnel
regulations and procedures. As a facilities manager I coordinated
building renovation with contractors, vendors and other
government agencies.
Previous Job Title: Administrative Officer July 1997 to June 2005
As an Administrative Officer I managed the administrative support
function for 220 military and civilian employees located in
Japan, Korea, Guam and Alaska. I ensured my staff of 4 promptly
processed recruitment, payroll, awards, performance reviews and
classification actions. The position advised managers on
applicable administrative regulations to include EEO and Union
Bargaining Agreement interpretation as they impacted their
operations. Position worked with other administrative entities
and the local Union to resolve conflicts and issues. My staff
assisted employees with entitlements e.g., housing, travel and
special pay.
High Lights of job experience.
• Participated in the negotiation of our unit Bargaining
Agreement with the Service Employment International Union.
• Managed the realignment of civilian personnel to new venues
in Asia.
• Coordinated building renovations with contractors and other
government agencies.
Managed sensitive personnel actions i.e., discipline and
termination with Human Resources agencies. I represented

JOB Title: Program Analyst – US Army June 1991 to July 1997
This position administered several administrative programs for a
Transportation unit Programs administered were management
controls, manpower reviews (i.e., justification of civilian and
military personnel assigned to an organization). Reviewed and
Updated Intra Service Support Agreements (contracts) between
Government agencies for various types of support. Other duties
involved coordinated building renovations and initiating budget
Adjustments.
- Conducted training in Management Controls and reviews of unit
activities.
- Assisted in the formulation and issuance of documents requesting
approval of organizational changes to higher headquarters.
- Guided management on their preparation of cyclical employee
evaluations and counseling.
Job Titles (Civilian Personnel Specialist) Intern to Supervisory Section
Chief. July 1980 to June 1991
I was selected for the Army Civilian Personnel Intern Program in
1980. As a trainee I worked in various HR sections conducting
recruitment, training, job classification, employee relations
actions and employee benefits. These assignments and class room
training enabled me to progress from trainee to Journey Man level
positions providing support to hundreds of Army civilian employees.
My work assignments took me to Korea, Germany and Hawaii. Before I
moved to Program Management I was the Supervisor of the civilian
recruitment section for the US Army in Daegu, Korea. My staff of 9
US and Korean employees recruited for some 2,600 civilian
positions. They advertised evaluated and qualified thousands of
applications for referrals to selecting officials. When directed by
management conducted reductions in force.
