Singapore interest gap for other Non Japan Asia (NJA) locations spiked and the GBS CTB team

of interest gap (IG) is IG by currency MI. the M I reporting is done now on Qlikview, which is a

near real time system. If there is a spike in interest gap in any NJA entity, the IG by currency

M I for that entity is prepared to help facilitate in identifying the issues in the entity. The aim of

t his project was to achieve a scalable, flexible automated and user friendly solution to identify

and monitor the causes of interest gap across entities which act as a golden source of

settlement. By mapping the numerous systems together, a single trader's position can be viewed

i n a balance sheet l ike format. Currently the reporting and querying functionality within

Concentrix is l imited.

This implementation has brought to l ight a new degree of partnership between Technology,

F inancial Control & TMG teams to resolve a large number of significant data quality issues in

t he legacy architecture and spreadsheet environment. Data cleansing was an intensive and time

consuming task which led to an extended production parallel period. This system has provided a

more efficient month end process - Significant time savings at month end as 3 way rec between
