Professional experience
MSc in Neuro Electro Physiology Technology from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and
Research Centre, Kochi. 3 years course (including theory and duty schedules) and 6 months internship from
01/08/2011- 31/01/2015.
Now doing internship as Neurotechnologist at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi
from 01/08/2014 for 6 months.
Academic Project
Hypersomnolense- a retrospective analysis.
I have got hands on experience in:
Performs all routine digital Electroencephalograms and Performs Video EEGs.
Performs neonatal EEGs and EEGs in ICUs.
Nerve conduction studies including pediatric cases and assisting the electromyography in
EMG studies.
Performing all the evoked potential studies such as BAEP, VEP and SSEPs.
Performs sleep study such as polysomnography, PAP Titration (Auto PAP, CPAP, Bi PAP,
Servo ventilator) and multiple sleep latency test.
Assist Ictal and Inter Ictal SPECT study with the help of Dept of Nuclear Medicine.
Assist language mapping and motor mapping with the help of neurologist and neurosurgeon
Performs Intraoperative Neuropsychological monitoring (MEP, SSEP).
Autonomic Function Tests, Autonomic Pan Tilt Table Tests
Teaching neuro electrophysiology students.
Participates in research work.
Maintains records of all the procedures with archiving.
Organizes workflow in the laboratory
Assumes responsibility for recording equipment breakdown and coordinate Biomedical
services for repair.
Report processing of all the procedures done in Neurolab and editing of prolonged video EEG
data.
Attends to call duties when required
