230,000 gallons/day ethanol producer plant and its bi-products.
Provide assistance with diverse engineering projects regarding the plant’s performance by
inspecting and following up their development.
Develop quality assurance procedures and accompanying training material
Implemented procedures for vibration testing and laser alignment for plant equipment
Shadow and assist maintenance employees during corrective/preventative maintenance
Technology Commercialization Academy, University of Southern Indiana Summer 2013
Ten-week academy, facilitated by the University through a Lilly Endowment grant, providing selected
students with opportunities to work full time on technology transfer projects .
Worked on team of engineering and business students to develop commercialization ideas and
strategies using three patents from the U.S. Navy’s Surface Warfare Center in Crane, Indiana
(NSWC Crane; http://www.navsea.navy.mil/nswc/crane/).
Performed market research, feasibility analysis, business modeling, and a financial pro forma.
Presented final commercialization proposal to NSWC Crane officials and potential investors
SENIOR DESIGN PROJECT (FALL 2014)
Designed, fabricated, and implemented a portable isometric testing station to be used as a teaching
aid for USI’s Kinesiology and Sport department. Worked in a group of two students and presented
the analysis and function of the machine and its components to our clients, professors, and other
faculty.
