Accomplishments
Developed high current over-voltage protection circuitry with discrete components
(resistors, transistors, zener, MOSFET).
Identified transient voltage dropouts due to inrush current issues which effected
system power on.
Designed a high current, linear power regulator using only discrete components.
Identified System improvements for existing designs.
Identified reliability improvements for existing designs.
Recognized circuit design de-rating issues with existing designs.
Identified circuit design flaws of existing voltage regulator under radiation events.
Designed an analog NTSC blue screen video detection circuit.
Successfully designed and performed layout on 31 printed circuit boards. All circuit
board designs worked on first power on.
Successfully designed / implemented / PCB layout of 5 National switcher regulator
power supplies on first attempt. Low noise designs.
Successfully re-designed 3 SEPIC converters supplies on first attempt. Low noise
