Regulation and Voltage Balancing.
. Performed steady state, transient and fault studies, harmonic
investigation for renewable energy sources connected to transmission
lines by electromagnetic transient simulation.
. Modeled wind farms for protection from electro-mechanical oscillations
and validated results with eigenvalue analysis.
. Investigated scope of wind power connectivity in a realistic feeder
with regard to steady state overvoltage, temporary over voltage and
fault occurrence.

Responsible for lab management, designing of experiments and

Academic projects and visits
Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee
. Designed and fabricated "Sine wave generator using PLL"
DAC 0800 and EPROM were utilized for generation of sine wave. It could be
transformed to multi-wave generator with the corresponding EPROM.
. Designed and fabricated "Zero crossing detector"
With mono-shot IC 74121, a single phase and three - phase ZCD was
implemented for labs in IIT Roorkee.
. Visited a 400/220 kV PGCIL sub-station near Roorkee to get
familiarized with its equipment and operation.
