Practicum Experience:
As a MSW intern, I spent one year at Centerpoint Health, formerly The Center for Children
and Families, providing community based outpatient mental health counseling. The
agency provides counseling and community support to children, adolescents and adults.
As a BSSW intern, I spent one year at Hospice of Cincinnati working with the psychosocial
team. While there, I gained experience in home care, long term care and the in patient unit.
This was a very positive learning experience as I was introduced to the demands,
challenges and rewards of social work in a healthcare environment.
