Projects
M.Tech. Project dissertation on “Logic Circuit Design Optimization using Genetic Algorithm”.
- Minimization of power consumption and area occupied by circuit is a big challenge in complex
electronic circuits. Therefore, the circuit designs fulfilling prescribed requirements and having
minimal number of gates is very important, that is performed by Genetic Algorithm (GA) in
this work. The circuit is represented as a bi-dimensional matrix where each element is a logic
gate which is then encoded into bits and the optimization is performed.
