Assisted in project consisting of: re-opening two abandoned underground coal mines, an abandoned high-wall

mining operation; opening two new underground mines for a total cost upwards of $130 million

Tracking mine production rates and Assessing operational effectiveness

Following both local and Federal safety regulations

Observing and Inspecting completed tasks

Ensuring minimal disruption to mining activities caused by safety hazards and equipment interruption

due to misuse or failure

Supervised and Monitored performance of multiple contractors

Examined sections regularly for:

Safety hazards such as explosive or otherwise dangerous gases

Multiple hazards including, but not limited to, structural weakness pertaining to roof and ribs of mine

Facilitated all outby work in mine pertaining to moving equipment throughout the mine in a timely and safe

manner

Conducted belt moves/splices, moving power within a section

Acted as temporary Mine Foreman/Superintendent

Assisted Superintendent in planning following years budget

Participated in training all personnel in the Amonate complex insuring every member was up to standard

and adequately trained for their position
