Familiarly to using GD&T, ASME Y14.5M-1994, metric
system. and FDA
Regulation for Medical Device Design and Manufacturing.
- Design honing, horizontal & vertical machine, and optimize new and
existing
elevator/ hoist lifts, towers and similar equipment include stress
part analysis
(Solid Works - Simulation).
- Design roll-forming machinery (ranging from 50 to 600 FPM). This
includes
conveyors, stackers, recoilers, cut-to-length, width, automatic
bending,
drilling, tapering, high-speed roofing machinery etc.
- Designed prototype medical X-Ray (Roentgen) equipment for
Tomography,
Mammography, "S" scale and other surgical equipment.
- Interacted with customers in concept/tooling and design evaluations
as well.
Also design tools and floating fixture full automation.
For long production runs would turn welded parts to castings (Alum 356-T6
or Zinc 3) eliminating expensive and complicated mechanical machining.
All my machinery uses gear motors (electric and hydraulic), THK linear &
ball slide; horizontal and vertical, Thomson slides; all bearings (from
plastic/iolite to heavy McGill and Dodge bearings), hydraulic/pneumatic
cylinders, motors, and high-pressure lines, all sensors (optic, magnetic,
laser etc.) servomotors, timing belts, fixture assembly for mastering robot
position, steel and aluminum weldments (Stand, Base). Stainless Steel
sheet, including weld and spot weld. Tool steels (M1, A2, and D2). A
minimum of 90% of all the machines I make are prototypes.
