Presently working in a Star Cement Company Ltd (Meghalaya) having capacity 5300

Tpd plant as an Asstt. Chemist from 15.05.2014 to till date.

Working in Ghorahi Cement Industry Pvt. Ltd. (Nepal) having capacity 2,000 Tpd

plant, of KHD design as a Chemist from16/02/2013 to07.05.2014.

Working in Sonapur Cement Pvt. Ltd, village Dudras (Nepal) at 750 Tpd (CPW): It is

the biggest plant in Nepal, working as a chemist from 09.05.12 to 03/02/2013.

Working as a trainee chemist in Hills Cement Company Ltd. village Mynkree

(Meghalaya). It is the largest plant in N.E. region around 1000 Tpd (PROMAC) from

24/06/2011-28/04/12.

Job Profile & Responsibilities

•

Calibration & Operation of XRF Analyzer (PANalytical, Axios)& Thermofisher.

Chemical analysis of all raw materials i.e. Limestone, Shale, Gypsum, Fly ash,

Clay, Bauxite, Iron – Ore, Laterite, Mill scale.

Chemical analysis of Clinker, Cement (OPC & PPC).

Proximate analysis of coal & calorific value determination of coal by Bomb

Calorimeter.

Solution preparation & their standardization.

Sample Collection of raw materials, semi-finished & finished products & their

preparation.

Physical Testing of cement for NC, Sp surface, Setting time, Le – Chatelier,

Autoclave expansion & Compressive Strength.

Physical testing of fly ash for LR test, Drying Shrinkage, replacement cubes &

weekly testing of PPC.

Installation of Lab Equipment.

Independent controlling & monitoring in lab activities.
