and utilized HP-UX with Embedded SQL/C to implement the server components.
Joe redesigned software algorithms at Motorola that achieved 300% increase
in production volume and quality in the manufacture of their Temperature
Compensated Crystal Oscillators used in mobile radios and cellular
telephones.
Joe also developed a network based Engine Calibration System for General
Motors which was used at the Buick Engineering Center in Flint, MI and at
the Chevrolet Engineering Laboratory at the Milford Proving Grounds in
Milford, MI, allowing the engineers in the Power Train departments to
achieve a 10-fold increase in engine calibration development productivity.
