Process Engineer / Lean Manufacturing Coordinator 1/2010. - 1/2013
Lead Fabrication in process improvements including 5s, 7 waste, visual factory, problem solving, single minute exchange of dies and line balancing.
Lead Kaizen events to reduce cycle times and cost per unit. Wrote and revised work instructions to include time tables and process maps
Trained 245 associates on basic lean concepts and lead numerous process improvement events.
Restructured team boards to ensure associates were aware of how they could meet and improve their daily KPI’s.
Relocated our stamping parts warehouse and through process mapping and Kanban (as well as other process improvement events) reduced inventory and inventory footprint by 58%.
